Thinking about creating a course? Consider the intimidation factor or it's doomed to fail
It's not what you think
Intimidation makes a course sell.
What do I mean?
Students buy a course because they doubt they can figure it out on their own.
They want to reach a goal
They've tried before
They failed
Or they've seen the broken bodies of those who came before them
This intimidation factor is why they look for the holy grail -- your course.
They want to be shown the way by a guide who can save them from all the bumps and bruises everyone else got.
They want to find the path you've beaten for them out of the rough.
They want a lever to move the boulder out of their way.
So is what you're about to teach something others find hard to learn on their own?
If so, you've got a great topic for a course.
