You can sell your program, even if, at first, there’s no demand.
You do that with the need-connection approach. It allows you to connect what you’ve created to what others need.
The power of this approach is you don’t have to abandon your passions if you find that no one is interested. You just haven’t connected your idea to a need yet.
After using need-connection, you’ll be free to pursue your unique passions and make a profit at the same time.
Unfortunately, most people won’t use this method since they’ve been told to follow “market research” of one kind or another.
Market research is the killer of unique ideas.
Reason #1: If the market research says customers want a thing, you’re not the only one to see that. So everyone tries to solve the same problem.
Reason #2: They then try marketing the same obvious solutions.
Reason #3: They use the same obvious language everyone else uses.
Reason #4: You end up demoralized when “market research,” says the idea you love is doomed to fail.
But do not despair. The need-connection approach overcomes these problems.
Here’s how to use it, step-by-step:
Step 1: Identify a cool thing you want to create
There’s no point in being a creator if you’re not creating something you love. So start with passion. Is there a book you want to write, a class you want to create, or a service you want to provide? Decide what it is.
Step 2: Figure out one group you’d like to help
The more niche the group, the better. If you want to teach guitar, you’d speak differently to reach teens who want to start a band than you would to a farmer who wants to entertain his children.
Why do so many avoid choosing one group? They’re afraid to “miss out” on a larger audience. But in fact, they attract almost no one due to bland messaging focused on no one in particular.
Step 3: Find out from the one group what problems they have
Now is when you find out what problems they have.
But unlike the typical approach, you won’t change your product to address their biggest problem. You’re going to find one problem that your product already solves. It may even be a problem they don’t complain about since “that’s the way things are.” But you have a solution, and you can show them there’s a way out.
You’ve just taken your passion and found the need it fulfills.
Since your program came from your passions, most people haven’t created anything like it. You end up with a unique offering that no one can beat.
Want to turn your passion into a small course your customers will love?
It seems like a wonderful idea at first.
But then we sit down to create and aren’t sure what to do next.
If only we had a step-by-step method to know what to do first and second and third, then we could build a course with greater ease.
The Atomic Course Blueprint provides this these steps.

Heya Rodney, 👋
I have struggled with this exact problem for over 2 years, as everyone (mostly),
recommends launching a Pilot first, to figure out the problems...
I already know my fave Memory Techniques, Games & Lessons I want to share & teach, so I can skip all the
- Target Audience stuff (🧒 to 👵)
- What Memory Problems they are experiencing
- They are not aware that Memory Improvement Coaching even exists! 😔😢
Over 'n Out,
